The Trade Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring Stanley's marketing strategies are effectively tailored and executed in the UK & Ireland markets. Reporting to the EMEA Trade Marketing Manager, this position requires a proactive approach, balancing both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will work cross-functionally with various teams such as Brand Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to drive successful campaigns and grow key accounts in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Campaign Management: Adapt and implement seasonal marketing campaigns for the UK & Ireland, ensuring alignment with the overall EMEA brand strategy;
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Tools: Develop and provide trade marketing tools and assets, ensuring all materials are fit for market and tailored to the needs of key accounts;
- Key Account Support: Collaborate with the Sales team and attend key account meetings, presenting seasonal marketing toolkits and gaining buy-in for marketing initiatives;
- Project Management: Lead and manage the planning, production, and execution of marketing plans for key accounts, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and markets;
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Brand Marketing, Product) and external partners (vendors, distributors) to ensure that all marketing activities are synergistic and optimised for maximum impact;
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Record, analyze, and share key performance indicators (KPIs) from marketing campaigns to ensure continuous improvement and optimisation of future activities;
- Trade Show & Event Support: Assist in planning and executing sales meetings, trade shows, and events as required, ensuring all marketing deliverables are aligned and on-brand.
Additional Key Tasks:
- Ensure that key business deadlines and deliverables are communicated to relevant external parties and adhered to;
- Serve as a Stanley brand ambassador, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect the company’s values and are clearly understood throughout the UK & Ireland region;
- Collaborate with UK/EU design and production agencies to ensure that all assets are produced on time and to specification;
- Able and willing to travel to the UK & IRE regularly (approximately 20-30%)
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Communication Management: Act as the liaison between the Sales & Marketing team and key accounts to optimise marketing efforts in-season and pursue incremental opportunities;
- Calendar Ownership: Take charge of the marketing calendar for the UK & Ireland, ensuring all activities are planned, executed, and tracked in alignment with EMEA-wide initiatives;
- Market Analysis: Continuously gather insights from the UK & Ireland market to refine marketing strategies and tactics, ensuring that Stanley remains competitive and relevant.
This position is located in central Amsterdam.

About the team:
The Trade Marketing Specialist will report directly to the EMEA Trade Marketing Manager. The team is made up of three other Trade Marketing Specialists (North EMEA, South EMEA, and Germany).

Who are you?
You have 3+ years of experience in trade marketing and a passion for growing key accounts through tailored marketing strategies. You are detail-oriented, skilled at working cross-functionally, and able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Experience with athletic specialty accounts like JD Sports or Foot Locker is highly desired. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proactive mindset, ensuring deadlines are met while consistently delivering high-quality results.
Furthermore:
- University or four-year college Degree (BA or BS in related field) or equivalent experience;
- Excellent command of MS Office;
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Able and willing to travel to the UK & IRE regularly (approximately 20-30%).

What more does this job offer you?
- A job for 32 - 40 hours;
- Competitive salary €55.000 - €70.000 a year (including holiday allowance);
- Bonus of 10%, based on organisation and personal performance;
- Contract will be 1 year definite with 1 month probation period and intention after this one year for an indefinite period;
- 25 holidays;
- €3 a day work from home allowance;
- €80 per month phone contributions (this means you can decide yourself how you set up your work phone);
