Description of the role

Versuni, formerly known as Philips Domestic Appliances, has a simple yet powerful purpose of turning houses into homes. As a house of brands, Versuni is home to the brands: Philips, Saeco, Gaggia, Preethi, Philips Walita, L'OR Barista and Senseo. They create and deliver sustainable product innovations in kitchen appliances, coffee, climate care, garment and floor care. 

We aim to find in you the new Go-to-Market Manager in the Kitchen Life team, which is part of the Global Marketing Team, based in Amsterdam. As go-to-market Manager Kitchen Life you lead the go-to-market strategy for new product introductions and ensure content strategies and execution are aligned with marketing targets. You are responsible for content creation related to new product introductions, always on campaigns (social media/app), commercial moments & sustainability. You collaborate with agencies, marketing and design teams to plan and develop content, style and layouts that meet global quality standards and align with the brand/ content strategy. You lead and manage the overall creative agency roster, oversee content creation related to product introductions (special projects) and provide toolkits (playbooks) to markets and incorporates feedback into future creation. Also, you provide guidelines for adaptation and localization. 

Other responsibilities are:

  • Validate consumer insights and develop the consumer strategy
  • Monitor content usage, reach and impact by tracking KPIs 
  • Manage local app content based on global content guidelines to secure locally relevant app experience

In this position you do not manage a team.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate has 8-12 years of experience in communication strategy or go-to-market strategy. You have strong expertise in translating consumer insights into creative concepts and content. You are a true business partner for internal stakeholders (brand management, product management, markets) and external (creative) agencies/studios. You are experienced in developing creative briefs and challenging all parties to achieve the best propositions, campaign assets and toolkits. 

Furthermore, you are; 

  • strong in stakeholder management, empathetic
  • results-driven, with a very good eye for details
  • fluent in English
