The positioning of CARU containers is in place and needs to be translated into marketing strategies and initiatives. The Head of Marketing takes ownership of the global brand and marketing strategy, plans and performance. Digital channels, social media and content will play a substantial role. You build a global brand and work with a small production team in Rotterdam (a content marketeer and a designer) and a flexible workforce of high- end creative ( campaign) agencies, a social media agency, and freelance copywriters. You decide on channel & campaign strategy with a strong focus on Thought Leadership. Furthermore, together with the (new to hire) sales marketeers in Boston, Brazil and Europe you will co-create a sales enablement strategy. Lead generation (both on and offline) and segmented go-to-market plans are at the core of lead generation. You make sure that best practices and local initiatives are made scalable for all countries. Also you will set up and roll out a (digital) lead generation strategy. Since sustainability is at the core of CARU's proposition (and actions), you are a profound sparring partner for the sustainability officer. 

You will play an important role in the development of CARU's web platform to make sure the new brand positioning and desired customer journey(s) are accommodated. The implementation of online marketing will go hand-in-hand with this development. Together with your team, you optimize along the way, by setting clear goals  collect learnings and measurements. The ideal candidate

You are an entrepreneurial, brand-minded marketing manager with experience in a B2B environment (> 6 years). Preferably you have gained this experience at international (trading) companies and/or scale-ups. You can be strategic and hands on at the same time and at your best in the triangle Marketing - Sales - Customer Experience. When setting up distinctive (sales) marketing campaigns, you combine clear data with creativity. You know a solid storytelling strategy is the base for (on- and offline) lead generation and a segmented approach.

You are fluent in English and Dutch and you have strong stakeholder management skills.
